Rising summer temperatures have led to a heavy rush at Ahmedabad’s municipal swimming pools, with nearly 15,000 people visiting daily. The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation said 21 pools are currently open and additional batches have been started to manage the crowd. Special timings have been arranged for children, learners, and experienced swimmers, while women also have dedicated sessions. To prevent dehydration, ORS is being provided at pool sites, along with strict hygiene and water quality checks. Meanwhile, officials from Vadodara visited Ahmedabad to study its civic facilities and management systems for possible adoption in their city.
