BENGALURU
The seizure of drugs worth Rs 65 crore across the city in the past 15 days has raised concerns about Bengaluru emerging as a drug hub. Despite intensified vigilance, police say the supply chain remains active. Investigations are underway to trace the source and network behind the large consignments. Officials suspect a well-organised interstate supply system. Preliminary findings indicate that MDMA is being sourced from Delhi, while cannabis is arriving from Visakhapatnam and the Araku Valley in Andhra Pradesh. Police said raids and crackdowns will continue, with efforts focused on dismantling the network and curbing drug trafficking in the city.
