At Kuvempu University’s convocation in Shivamogga, students showcased outstanding academic performance, with women securing the majority of gold medals. Abhishek H. M. (M.A. Kannada) topped the university with 10 gold medals and 2 cash prizes. Raksha (M.Sc. Environmental Science) won 7 gold medals, Srishti R. (M.Sc. Biotechnology) earned 6, and Sahana Ganesh Shet (MBA) secured 5 gold medals and a cash award. A total of 16,955 students were eligible to graduate, including 9,940 women. Overall, 155 gold medals were awarded across disciplines, highlighting strong academic achievements. PhD degrees were also conferred on 163 candidates.
