GTTC opens doors for vocational training admissions

Applications have been invited at the GTTC centre on Naragunda Alagavadi Road in Gadag district for vocational training courses for interested youth. Courses include Toolroom Machinist, Vehicle Assembly Fitter and Automobile Welder training programmes. Candidates who have passed or failed SSLC or PUC are eligible to apply. One year Toolroom Machinist training includes practical sessions in Turner, Miller, Grinder and CNC machines. Vehicle Assembly Fitter and Automobile Welder courses provide hands-on training in fitting, assembly and welding skills. Students will also learn AutoCAD along with Kannada, English language and job readiness skills. After completing one year training, trainees are placed in reputed tooling and aircraft manufacturing industries.

Admissions are open now and interested students can apply before May 15. Training will begin from June 1 at the centre. For details, contact GTTC Naragunda at 8088536896 as per official notification. The institute said it focuses on skill development for rural youth and helps them gain employment in industrial sectors.
