Swamiji links polls, immigration concerns in Kalaburagi

Shiv Sena state president Siddalinga Swamiji told reporters in Kalaburagi that the recent election result in West Bengal shows what he called end of misrule in the state He alleged that West Bengal had seen anti-constitutional governance for fifteen years He claimed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah influenced voters through large rallies leading to BJP gains He also said similar trend was seen in Assam Referring to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee he alleged dissatisfaction among people was reflected in results He further warned that illegal immigration from Bangladesh could rise in southern states including Karnataka and Telangana He urged both central and state governments to take strict steps to prevent such inflow saying it may create future challenges His remarks added to ongoing political debate on migration and security issues Leaders said the issue continues to spark discussion across the region in recent days now.
