Peenya flyover shut for 3 days, traffic disruptions likely

BENGALURU

The Peenya Flyover, a key traffic corridor connecting nearly 22 districts, has been closed for three days starting Tuesday, causing major inconvenience to commuters. According to traffic police, the closure is due to repair works, including cable installation and load testing being carried out by the National Highways Authority. All vehicular movement on the flyover has been suspended. Commuters using Tumkur Road are expected to face heavy congestion during this period. Authorities said the flyover will reopen for traffic after 11 am on Friday, urging motorists to plan alternate routes.
