Manipur moved closer to the quarter-finals of the Swami Vivekananda U20 Men’s NFC after a dominant 7-0 win over Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. Salam Swamichandra Meitei scored a first-half hat-trick to lead the charge. In another Group B match, hosts Chhattisgarh drew 1-1 with Nagaland after an injury-time equaliser. Manipur now lead the group with six points and will face Chhattisgarh in a key clash. A draw will be enough for Manipur, while the hosts must win to qualify for the last eight stage of the tournament overall.
