The Ambedkar Labour Service Centres have supplied occupational safety kits for registered construction workers in Mandya district, officials said. Workers who have already registered have begun receiving the kits. Those who are registered but have not yet received them can apply to become beneficiaries and collect the safety kits from the Labour Department. Eligible workers must submit valid worker identity cards and copies of Aadhaar cards at the respective taluk labour inspector offices. Authorities said the initiative aims to improve safety at construction sites. For more details, workers can contact the Sub-Divisional Labour Office in Mandya or nearby taluk labour inspector offices, said Dr M Savita in a statement.
