Pudi Srihari, YSRCP media general secretary, received bail from a Chittoor district court in Andhra Pradesh over an alleged abusive social media post against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He was arrested in Bengaluru and brought to Kuppam for production before the court. After hearing arguments, the judge granted him bail. His lawyer alleged mismatch in arrest timing and said the party trusts the judiciary. The case relates to earlier allegations of posting morphed images of the Chief Minister. Srihari, a former journalist, denied wrongdoing and said he always followed law and ethics in public life always said.
