A heartfelt Guru Vandane and friendship reunion was held at Rashtriya Vidyapeeth High School in Y.N. Hosakote village of Pavagada taluk, where former SSLC students of the 2001–02 batch met their teachers.
Retired teacher Madhusreenivas said it is a proud moment for any teacher to see students grow into responsible citizens. He said students who remember their school and teachers even after achieving success reflect true culture. He also advised everyone to keep learning throughout life and remain humble despite success.
Retired vice principal Mohammed Hussain said teachers do not only teach academics but also life values, and seeing students succeed is the greatest reward. He thanked the students for bringing back old memories through the reunion.
Students shared memories of their school days and honoured their teachers with respect. As a gesture of gratitude, they were gifted a poetry collection titled Iddangirudu by Madhusreenivas.
School leaders, including E.V. Sridhar and headmaster B. Thippeswamy, along with several teachers, attended the program, making the reunion emotional and memorable for all present.
