District in-charge Minister H. K. Patil today inaugurated several development works and welfare facilities across Gadag city, marking multiple public events. At Mulgund Naka near the Deputy Divisional Officer’s office, he opened commercial shops built under SCP and TSP grants by the North West Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, Gadag division. Officials including Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Duragesh K. R., Akbarasab Babarji, B. B. Asuti and Ashok Mandali were present. The Minister also performed the ground-breaking ceremony for the Gangimadi Model Anganwadi Centre in Ward No. 22 of Gadag Betageri Municipality. Later, he inaugurated an Anganwadi centre in Ward No. 21 at Okkalageri Kamatar Plot, where he cut a cake with children. Another Anganwadi centre in Ward No. 27 on Chikkalageri-Sambhapur Road was also inaugurated. Officials said these projects will improve childcare and local facilities in the city. Residents welcomed the initiatives, saying they will support education, safety, and better services for children and communities across Gadag city in coming years. Officials reaffirmed continued development efforts in the region.
