Seven year deal to boost Jharkhand cricket

NOIDA

The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) has officially partnered with SJ Uplift to launch and develop the Jharkhand T20 Cricket League. This ambitious seven-year agreement aims to transform local cricket into a professional powerhouse, starting with an inaugural season featuring six competitive franchises.

Under this new mandate, SJ Uplift will take full control of the league’s operations and commercial growth. Their responsibilities include finding sponsors, securing media rights, and building a strong brand for the tournament. The goal is to create a platform that not only showcases local talent but also stays financially healthy for years to come.

JSCA President Ajay Nath Shahdeo expressed his excitement about the deal, noting that the association wanted a partner with a proven track record. “We are pleased to build a professionally structured league,” he said. He believes this partnership aligns perfectly with the vision of providing a sustainable and well-organized stage for cricketers across the state.

SJ Uplift is no stranger to sports management, having previously successfully launched the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League. Founder Sambhav Jain stated that the focus will remain on long-term planning and strong franchise participation. By bringing professional management to regional cricket, the JSCA hopes to find the next generation of stars who can eventually represent India on the world stage. For fans in Jharkhand, this long-term deal promises a new era of high-energy, local T20 action every year.
