A Shivasharane Hemareddy Mallamma Jayanti programme will be held on May 10 at 11 am at Gandhi Bhavan in Madikeri. The event is jointly organised by the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, and the Kannada and Culture Department. Several dignitaries are expected to participate, including Minister N.S. Bhosaraju, MLA Dr. Mantar Gowda, legal advisor and MLA A.S. Ponnanna, MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar, and Rajya Sabha member Ajay Maken. Other officials, legislators, and district administration officers will also attend. Organisers said the event aims to honour the legacy of Shivasharane Hemareddy Mallamma and promote cultural values among the public in Kodagu district.
