Ramanagara
A three-day community life camp organised by Rajajinagar Education College for B.Ed trainees concluded successfully, with speakers highlighting its role in shaping leadership qualities and personality development among students.
Vice President of Rajajinagar Education College, Srikanth, said that such camps provide a strong platform for developing patience, tolerance, adaptability, and leadership skills along with practical life education.
Speaking at the closing ceremony held in Ramanagara, he said students who remain only in classrooms do not gain complete knowledge. He urged trainees to actively participate in such camps to build awareness, confidence, and concentration.
He added that community life camps give students exposure to social, economic, and real-life issues, helping them become responsible citizens. According to him, such experiences are essential for future teachers as they play a key role in shaping society.
Taluk Thigala Samaj President and Congress leader Guruve Gowda also addressed the gathering. He said learning is a continuous process in life and emphasized that devotion, humility, and patience are necessary to gain true knowledge.
He reminded the trainees that they carry the responsibility of shaping future generations and urged them to promote discipline and a sense of service among schoolchildren once they become teachers.
He further said that values and ideals are important for building strong citizens and that teacher trainees should take initiative in this direction.
The programme saw the presence of honorary president A.H. Basavaraju, Principal Dr. Shivaramaiah, and several college staff members and local leaders including Yogesh, Gururaj, Krishnappa, Nagaraju, and Lakshman.
