Uppinangady
A tragic road accident near Neerakatte in Bajathuru village of Uppinangady claimed the life of a 23-year-old college student, Karthik,. He was riding a two-wheeler when a lorry collided with the vehicle. The impact threw him onto the road, causing fatal injuries, and he died on the spot. His pillion rider, Neha, also a college student, sustained serious injuries and was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru, where she is currently undergoing treatment. The students were returning after attending a wedding. Puttur Traffic Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
