An unidentified man, around 50 to 55 years old, was found dead on April 27 in Uluvar village of Ankola taluk. He is believed to have drowned in the Gangavali river near a railway bridge. Police are trying to trace his family. The deceased was strong built, wheatish complexion, round face, and about 5.5 feet tall. He had a black sesame-shaped mark on his right shoulder and wore a white full-sleeved shirt with blue stripes.
