Hubballi
A new experimental city transport bus service from Hubballi Airport to Hubballi Railway Station has been started for improving passenger convenience and better connectivity. The service was launched in response to public demand from commuters and aimed at making travel between the airport and railway station easier and faster. Managing Director Priyanga M. and Hubballi Airport Director Rupesh Kumar inaugurated the service and also personally drove the bus during the launch event.
The bus service operates daily based on flight arrival timings with scheduled trips at 8:05 am, 11:45 am, 5:05 pm, 6:35 pm, 7:10 pm, 8:05 pm and 8:50 pm. The route passes through Gokul Road Central Bus Stand, Hosur Cross, the city area, Suburban Bus Stand and Channamma Circle before reaching Hubballi Railway Station. Officials said the new transport service will strengthen urban mobility and provide easy access for air passengers traveling to trains and other destinations.
The initiative is expected to improve connectivity between the airport and railway hub and benefit daily travelers. City Transport officials including Divisional Controller M. Siddalingesh, Pratapa B. Whi., Arun D. V., S. R. Matoli, Praveena Eedura and Vinayak Salimath were present at the inauguration event. Authorities have requested media houses to publish this information widely so that passengers can benefit from the new service. This experimental bus operation is expected to reduce travel time and provide a smooth connection between air and rail travel for the people of Hubballi and nearby regions while supporting modern public transport growth in the city said officials during the program. They also encouraged commuters to use the service regularly.
