Authorities in Gadag have imposed prohibitory orders around examination centres in view of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2026 scheduled on May 3. The move aims to ensure a fair and smooth conduct of the examination while maintaining law and order. The district administration in Gadag has announced strict measures ahead of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2026, which will be conducted on May 3 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. In order to prevent malpractices such as impersonation and cheating, and to maintain discipline at examination centres, prohibitory orders have been enforced within a 200-meter radius of all designated centres. According to officials, the restrictions will be in force from 10:00 AM to midnight on the day of the examination.
