Tragedy strikes on day of housewarming feast

BANTWAL

A cloud of profound grief settled over Sajipa Munnur village as a respected young scholar passed away on the very day he was set to celebrate his new home. Ameer Arshadi, a thirty-six-year-old religious leader, died of a sudden heart attack just hours before his guests were scheduled to arrive for a housewarming feast.

Arshadi had served as a dedicated Khateeb at the local mosque for five years, earning a reputation as an inspiring speaker who motivated the youth and brought positive change to his community. Though he had recently been receiving treatment for a kidney illness, his death came as a total shock.

The tragedy unfolded when Arshadi complained of sharp chest pain. Family members rushed him to a private hospital and later to a facility in Mangaluru, but sadly, he could not be saved. Instead of the laughter and joy expected at the newly built house in Alampady-Koppala, the residence is now filled with mourners.

Arshadi leaves behind his grieving parents, wife, and two young children. His admirers remember him as a man of great faith and kindness who worked tirelessly for religious awareness. The feast that was meant to mark a fresh beginning has instead become a gathering of a heartbroken community saying a final goodbye to a beloved leader.
