Students who excelled in the SSLC examinations in Gadag were honoured at a special felicitation programme held at the Cotton Cell Society premises. The event celebrated students who secured top ranks in the district and highlighted the importance of education.
State Minister H.K. Patil congratulated the achievers and said their success proves that poverty is not a barrier to education. He encouraged students to focus on learning and make use of government schemes designed to support their academic growth.
Addressing the gathering, he said students should not use financial hardship as an excuse but instead work hard to achieve their goals. He also expressed confidence that students from the district would continue to perform well and reach higher positions in life.
The minister stressed the role of parents in shaping the future of children, urging them to ensure quality education and provide continuous support. He also appreciated the efforts of teachers, education officials, and the district administration for improving overall results.
Several leaders and officials attended the programme, including Akbar Saab Babarchi, B.B. Asuti, and Ashok Mandali.
Officials from the education department and local representatives were also present to encourage students. The programme concluded with the distribution of awards and recognition to top-performing students.
