A district-level Janata Darshan programme aimed at addressing public grievances and providing relief to citizens was launched in Kundgol town. The initiative seeks to create a direct platform for people to voice their concerns and receive timely solutions from the administration.
The programme was led by District In-charge Minister Santosh Lad, who inaugurated the Janata Darshan event at the Sawai Gandharva Smarak Bhavan in Kundgol. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts by the district administration to strengthen public engagement and ensure that grievances are addressed efficiently and transparently.

Several key officials were present during the occasion, including MLA M R Patil, Deputy Commissioner Snehal R, and Superintendent of Police Gunjan Arya. Their presence highlighted the administration’s commitment to actively listen to the concerns of citizens and take prompt action.

A large number of petitioners gathered at the Sawai Gandharva Memorial Hall to submit their grievances and seek solutions. The administration had set up a dedicated public application counter ahead of the Janata Darshan platform, making it easier for people to register their complaints and requests. Citizens from different parts of the district participated in the programme, reflecting the widespread need for such a direct grievance redressal mechanism.

Officials stated that the programme is designed to bridge the gap between the public and the administration by providing a single-window system for addressing issues related to governance, welfare schemes, and civic amenities. Many attendees expressed optimism that their concerns would be resolved quickly through this initiative.

The Janata Darshan programme is expected to continue as a regular feature, ensuring that governance remains accessible and responsive. The strong turnout on the first day indicates that the initiative has been well received by the public and could play a significant role in improving administrative efficiency and public satisfaction in the district.
