Announcing a major educational initiative in Bidar, Dr Abdul Khadeer, Chairman of Shaheen Group of Institutions, said 100 meritorious students will receive free PUC education across Karnataka. Students scoring above 95% in SSLC exams are eligible, with two-year tuition fully waived. Of the seats, 25 are reserved for Kalyana Karnataka region, including Bidar, with preference to rural government school students, Kannada-medium learners, and those who have lost a parent or are differently abled. Dr Khadeer said the initiative aims to support economically disadvantaged but talented students. Eligible candidates can contact Shaheen Group PU colleges for details and admission procedures. He emphasized inclusive access and long-term educational empowerment goals further announced.
