Highlighting the seriousness of the situation, the Governor stressed that abandoned bulls pose challenges not only to urban and rural management but also to animal welfare.
He pointed out that coordinated efforts, including community participation and government intervention, are essential to ensure proper care and protection of these animals.
Bagade emphasized initiatives such as fodder donation drives and the use of cow shelters to provide safe refuge for abandoned bulls. He noted that the Government of Rajasthan has already been running special campaigns focused on their protection and welfare. In addition, he mentioned a dedicated scheme that encourages farmers to rear bulls and utilize them in agricultural activities. Under this initiative, eligible farmers receive annual financial assistance of Rs 30,000, which aims to promote sustainable livestock management.
During his visit to Bijorawas village, the Governor attended the consecration ceremony of a Shiv Temple located within the Baba Bishah Temple complex. On the occasion, he performed traditional rituals and prayers, seeking peace, prosperity, and well-being for the people of the state.
Addressing the gathering, Bagade spoke about the spiritual significance of Lord Shiva, describing him as a symbol of knowledge and positivity who dispels ignorance and negativity. He emphasized the importance of preserving cultural traditions and passing them on to future generations.
The Governor highlighted the need for young people to remain deeply connected to their heritage and values, stating that cultural continuity plays a crucial role in building a strong society. He added that while modern education is important, it should be complemented with a deep understanding of cultural roots and ethical values.
Reiterating his message, Bagade urged communities to actively participate in both cultural preservation and social responsibility initiatives, including the care and protection of abandoned animals.
