people died on the national highway near Yediyurappa Marg in Belagavi on Tuesday morning. Wasim (28) and Mubarak (22) from Kukkapet in Sorab taluk of Shivamogga died on the spot. Basavaraj Hanchinamani (37), driver from Mugalikoppa, is critically injured. The goods vehicle carrying chickens from Kolhapur to Sorab lost control and hit a parked truck. The impact crushed the vehicle and many chickens died. Police from Hirebagewadi station visited the spot and registered a case. Investigation is ongoing as officers examine the cause of the accident and vehicle condition. further details are awaited by police
