The 97th birth anniversary of Dr. Rajkumar will be celebrated on April 24 at 10.30 am in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Auditorium, Patrika Bhavan. The event is jointly organised by the district administration, Zilla Panchayat, and various departments and associations. Minister D. Sudhakar will inaugurate the programme. MLA K.C. Veerendra Pappy will preside over the function. Several public representatives and officials will attend. A lecture by Dr. Naveen Maskal and cultural performances, including songs of Dr. Rajkumar by K. Gangadhar’s team, are planned. Officials said the event aims to honour the legendary actor’s legacy and cultural impact on Kannada cinema.
