National-Level Techno-Cultural Fest Concludes with Grand Success

Srinivas Institute of Technology (SIT), Valachil, Mangaluru, successfully wrapped up ENVISION-2026, its prestigious national-level techno-cultural festival, on April 17, 2026. The two-day event, held on April 16 and 17, brought together over 1,600 participants from various institutions across 27 technical and cultural events.

The fest blended technical challenges with creative and cultural expressions, providing a dynamic platform for students to showcase innovation, teamwork, and artistic talents. SDIT Kenjar won the overall championship and SMVITM Bantakal was the runner-up.

The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony on April 17, where trophies and accolades were handed over. The ceremony also included acknowledgments for the organizers, participants, and volunteers who contributed to the fest’s success.

The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department organized several engaging activities that perfectly captured the fusion of technology and culture. Tokyo Frames Reels Contest saw participants creating short video reels in a time-bound challenge, demonstrating creativity, video editing skills, and innovative storytelling.

Odori Matsuri Group Dance displayed teams performing energetic group dances, blending diverse styles with strong coordination. The event promoted teamwork, boosted confidence, and celebrated cultural expression through movement.

Shinko Circuit (Circuit Heist) was a technical competition where teams solved electronics and circuit-related problems under time pressure. It enhanced analytical thinking, accuracy, and collaborative problem-solving skills.

These ECE events, along with the other 24 activities, kept the campus buzzing with energy, full auditoriums, live performances, and enthusiastic student participation.

ENVISION-2026 lived up to its reputation as a premier platform uniting innovators and creators. It successfully bridged tradition with modern technology, leaving participants with memorable experiences and valuable skills.
