The District Citizens Committee (DCC) marked the twin occasions of Basava Jayanti and Akshaya Tritiya with a blend of devotion, cultural expression, and community welfare at Maruti Veethika in the city. The celebration stood out for its focus on farmers’ well-being and the symbolic importance of food security. On the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, participants resolved that the lives of farmers, considered the backbone of the nation, should improve, and that food grains should remain abundant and never diminish.
