The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) on Saturday announced the final results of the Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) Recruitment 2024, completing the selection process for 1,096 posts across the state.
Candidates can check their results on the official website. Dinesh Bishnoi from Barmer secured the top rank, showing steady improvement from earlier attempts. He had earlier ranked 948th in 2021 and 57th in the previous exam, and is currently undergoing training in the Rajasthan Police Service. His father, Ramdhan Manju, is a retired District Education Officer.
Virendra Charan from Jaisalmer secured the second rank. He belongs to Rampuriya village in Pokaran and is currently serving as a Tehsildar. His father, Jethudan Charan, works as a Head Constable in the police department.
The Commission also released a merit list of 2,391 candidates after completing interviews on April 17. The recruitment process included three stages — Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. Candidates who cleared the preliminary stage appeared for the mains, followed by interviews conducted in phases starting April 1, 2025.
With the final phase of interviews completed, the selection process has now officially ended. Candidates were selected based on merit, making inclusion in the list a major achievement. The RAS exam is considered one of the most prestigious competitive exams in Rajasthan.
Many successful candidates expressed happiness over their achievement and thanked their families and teachers for support.
The Commission said further instructions regarding document verification and appointment will be issued soon.
