A new female-focused psychological thriller titled Aditi has been announced, with makers claiming it is the first film in the world shot in just five long shots. The film is produced by Valarina Maria Rogers and Nelson Rogers W under Millennium Ad Media.
The project carries the tagline “Liberty” and is written by Nelson Rogers W, who has also handled the story, screenplay, and action design. The film is co-directed by Solomon K. George, who is also involved in editing.
The makers recently launched promotional activities including songs, teaser release, and the unveiling of the Y2K Mizik Audio Company logo at a city event. The programme was inaugurated by actor Chetan Kumar.
The film features Yieshaana Sannappanavar in the lead role, along with Harshitha Kallingal, Aarthi, Nisarga Manjunath, Yesha, Danny Kuttappa, Sunil, Ajith Kumar, and Gopi in supporting roles.
Director Solomon K. George said the film includes psychological thriller elements and keeps viewers engaged with questions about the identity and mystery surrounding the central character. Each of the five shots reportedly runs for 20 to 25 minutes, requiring extensive preparation and actor training.
Veteran cinematographer P. K. H. Das has worked on capturing the long takes, while music is composed by Ramesh Krishna and Krishna Priyadarshan. The film has been shot in Bengaluru and Kanakapura.
Aditi will release in multiple languages including Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Konkani, with women writers contributing dialogues across versions. The film is expected to complete censor formalities soon and release in June.
