District in-charge Minister M. B. Patil felicitated students from the district who excelled at the state level in the II PUC annual examinations held in March 2026. The felicitation ceremony was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office auditorium on Friday, following a review meeting on drinking water management. Addressing the students, the Minister said that their success was the result of hard work, dedication, and discipline, supported by the guidance of teachers and encouragement from parents.
He noted that such achievements not only bring pride to the district but also serve as an inspiration for other students, contributing to the overall improvement of educational standards. The Minister advised students to focus on higher education and use their talents for the service of the nation. He also assured that the government is committed to providing all necessary support and encouragement to meritorious students.

Sanika Metagar (SS PU College) – Secured State 2nd rank and District 1st rank
Akshata Chavan (Yashasvi PU College) – Secured State 3rd rank and District 2nd rank

Yuvaraj Bagali (SS PU College) – Secured State 4th rank and District 3rd rank
