Raichur
Members of the Christian community in Raichur organised a “Run for Jesus” rally, spreading messages of peace, unity, and faith. The rally witnessed participation from believers representing various churches across the city. The event was organised with the objective of promoting world peace and sharing the teachings of Jesus Christ among the public.
The rally commenced from Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram Circle and proceeded through major roads before concluding at Basaveshwar Circle. Participants carried banners and placards conveying spiritual messages and emphasizing harmony and brotherhood. Leading members of the community, including Reverend Father R. Samuel, Father John Wesley David, Father Luke Foster, Father Wilbrat Foster, Father V. Varaprasad Foster, Father Jarn James Foster, and Father Sampath Pastor, were present and guided. M.R. Shankar Hunagund and several other dignitaries, along with a large number of women and youth, actively took part in the rally, making it a vibrant and meaningful event. Participants expressed hope that such initiatives would help foster communal harmony and inspire people to follow values of love, compassion, and peace in society.
