Parents and residents in Sampigehalli, North Bengaluru, staged a protest against alleged rash driving by a Vibgyor School bus, demanding an apology from the driver. The protestors blocked the vehicle in Chokkanahalli after a child narrowly escaped being hit near his home. Following a complaint, Sampigehalli police issued a notice to the driver, identified as M. Harsha, who later apologised. Residents said repeated reckless driving by school buses had raised safety concerns in the area. Police officials stated that more drivers accused of negligent driving would be summoned, as authorities move to address growing complaints from residents.
