India’s defence exports reached an all-time high of ₹38,424 crore in FY 2025-26, marking a 62.66% increase over the previous year, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced at the National Defence Industries Conclave. DPSUs contributed 54.84% of exports, while private industry accounted for 45.16%, reflecting strong public-private collaboration. Singh highlighted that the growth demonstrates global trust in India’s indigenous defence capabilities and advanced manufacturing strength. The milestone underscores India’s expanding role in the global defence market and the success of the nation’s self-reliant defence ecosystem.
