Quetta
Heavy rains and flash floods hit Balochistan, killing seven people and injuring four. Dozens of homes were destroyed, over 50 livestock drowned, and hundreds of acres of crops lost across Kachhi, Nasirabad, Jhal Magsi, Sibi, Harnai, Kohlu, Turbat, and other districts. Lightning strikes and collapsing roofs claimed several lives. Major roads, including Harnai-Quetta and Quetta-Sanjawi highways, were washed away, isolating communities. Emergency teams are conducting rescue and relief work. A mini-coach carrying women and children was safely rescued in Qila Abdullah. Authorities continue repairing embankments and restoring access while aiding affected families.
