The district administration, Zilla Panchayat, and Social Welfare Department will jointly celebrate the 119th birth anniversary of Babu Jagjivan Ram on April 5 at 10:00 AM at Kandagal Shri Hanumantharaya Rangamandir.
A procession will begin at 9:00 AM from Dr. Babu Jagjivan Ram Circle near the Satellite Bus Stand and pass through major city routes before reaching the venue. The Programme will be inaugurated by District In-charge Minister M. B. Patil and presided over by MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal. Key dignitaries include Shivanand Patil, Ravikumar N, Prakash B. Hukkeri, and Appaji C. S. Nadagouda. MPs Ramesh Jigajinagi and Sudha Murty will also attend. Prof. Lakshmidevi Y will deliver a lecture. The public has been invited to participate.
