Two Pakistani passengers were stopped at Multan International Airport after trying to use Umrah visas to enter Europe, officials said. Sikander Alam and Noor Islam claimed to travel to Saudi Arabia, but Moroccan visas in their passports revealed Spain as their real destination. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) referred them for further investigation amid rising cases of visa misuse. Earlier incidents exposed deeper institutional gaps, including alleged involvement of officials in facilitating fraudulent European visas. The passengers were offloaded and taken to FIA offices for questioning, highlighting ongoing concerns over immigration fraud and illegal migration from Pakistan.
