Heavy early morning rain hit parts of Bidar district on Tuesday, leading to the death of a 25-year-old farmer in a lightning strike in Aurad taluk. The victim, Rahul Bhaskar from Badalgav village, was working in his field when sudden rain and thunder intensified, and lightning struck him, killing him on the spot.
