Fly91 to connect Hubballi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad soon

Slug: Regional connectivity boost

New Delhi

A new flight service by Fly91 connecting Hubballi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad will begin soon, improving regional connectivity across North and Central Karnataka. The move comes after efforts by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, who had requested better air links for faster travel.

The airline is set to start operations from the second week of April. Preparations are already underway at Hubballi Airport, where space has been provided to the company. Officials confirmed that necessary arrangements and operational activities have been initiated to ensure smooth services.

Earlier, Joshi had raised the need for direct air connectivity between Hubballi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad with airline authorities. His request aimed at helping passengers travel quickly between these major commercial cities. Responding positively, Fly91 has finalised plans to operate regular flights on this route.

As per the schedule released by the airline, flights from Hyderabad to Hubballi will depart at 3:00 PM and arrive at 4:30 PM. The Hubballi to Bengaluru flight will operate from 4:55 PM to 6:15 PM. The return service from Bengaluru to Hubballi is scheduled between 6:45 PM and 8:15 PM, while the Hubballi to Hyderabad flight will depart at 8:35 PM and reach at 9:55 PM.

The introduction of this service is expected to benefit business travellers, students, and daily commuters by reducing travel time. It will also strengthen economic and social connections between the three cities.

Minister Joshi stated that the service will be available to the public from the second week of April. He also expressed gratitude to the Fly91 management for accepting his request and supporting improved air connectivity in the region, which is expected to boost overall development.
