Palm Beach International Airport in Florida will be renamed “President Donald J. Trump International Airport,” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced through a signed bill. Eric Trump, the former president’s son, thanked state officials and lawmakers for supporting the change, which takes effect on July 1. The Federal Aviation Administration clarified that airport renaming is a local matter, though updates to charts and databases are needed. The Trump Organization filed a trademark for the new name in February but confirmed no profits will be earned. The move marks a major tribute to Donald Trump in Florida.
