District Information Officer M. Junjanna was given a warm farewell in Chikkaballapur following his promotion as Senior Assistant Director to Chitradurga district, marking the end of his decade-long service in the district.
M. Junjanna, who served as Assistant Director in the Department of Information and Public Relations for the past ten years, was recently promoted by the government and transferred to Chitradurga district. In recognition of his dedicated service, separate farewell functions were organized on Tuesday at the department office in the District Administration Building and at the Press Club in the city.
The farewell events were attended by officials, journalists, and colleagues who appreciated Junjanna’s contribution to strengthening communication between the administration and the public. Speakers at the অনুষ্ঠানে highlighted his professionalism, commitment, and ability to effectively coordinate with media personnel during his tenure.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. N. Bhaskar praised Junjanna for his sincere efforts in disseminating government information and maintaining transparency in public communication. He noted that Junjanna played a key role in ensuring that government schemes and initiatives reached the grassroots level through effective media engagement.
Assistant Director of the Department of Kannada and Culture D.M. Ravikumar also lauded Junjanna’s work and wished him success in his new role. Members of the District Working Journalists’ Association, including President Ravikumar, Treasurer Muddukrishna, General Secretary Kagati Nagarajappa, former President M. Jayaram, and State Committee Member N. Chandrashekar, were present during the event.
At the Press Club, journalists shared their experiences of working with Junjanna and commended his approachable nature and support for the media fraternity. They expressed confidence that he would continue to excel in his new assignment.
In his response, Junjanna expressed gratitude to the district administration, colleagues, and journalists for their support throughout his tenure. He stated that his experience in Chikkaballapur had been enriching and would guide him in his future responsibilities.
