A 70-year-old man has been arrested in Navi Mumbai for allegedly abusing three minor girls aged 7, 9, and 10. The incident reportedly took place on March 26 while the children were playing in a residential building. The case came to light after one child informed her mother about inappropriate behaviour, prompting the other two to share similar experiences. Police registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the POCSO Act. The accused was produced before a court and has been remanded to judicial custody as investigation continues.
