Hosapete
Fourteen school students were injured after a school bus overturned in Hosapete taluk of Vijayanagara district on Tuesday afternoon. The accident occurred when a private school bus belonging to a local educational institution lost control and overturned near Hosapete. According to reports, the bus, bearing registration number KA-35-EB-4166, was carrying students at the time of the incident. Preliminary information suggests that the accident took place around 3:15 pm while the bus was on its routine route. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn and resulting in injuries to several students onboard. A total of 14 students sustained injuries, some of whom were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
