District Election Officer and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Anand K has ordered the reconstitution of several Gram Panchayats in Vijayapura district. As per the notification, villages in Alamel, Sindagi, Talikoti, and Basavana Bagewadi taluks have been reorganised under different Gram Panchayats. Several villages have been merged with Moratagi, Gabasavalagi, Guttaragi, Sasanur, and Vadavadagi Panchayats. The Deputy Commissioner has invited public objections, which must be submitted in writing to his office by April 2, as stated in the official order.
