Senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, who was hospitalised due to fever, is likely to be discharged soon as her health has improved significantly. Doctors said she has shown excellent recovery and her condition is now normal. The 79-year-old was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on March 24. According to hospital chairman Dr Ajay Swaroop, she is responding well to treatment and remains stable. Although she will continue IV antibiotics for a few days, all her health parameters are normal, and discharge will be decided soon.
