IndiGo, India’s largest airline, has announced a new daily non-stop flight between Kolkata and Shanghai, improving travel links between India and China. The service uses Airbus A320neo aircraft and supports both business and holiday travel. Passengers from several Indian cities can connect through Kolkata. The airline says this move will boost trade and tourism. IndiGo now runs 21 weekly flights to China. Flight timings allow overnight travel. Meanwhile, shares of InterGlobe Aviation fell slightly. The airline also plans to start over 30 new routes from Navi Mumbai, increasing weekly departures and strengthening domestic connectivity across many key cities.
