IndiaSkills event sees top youth compete nationwide

More than 650 young participants from across India are taking part in the IndiaSkills National Competition 2025–26, organised by the government. The event covers 63 skill areas and includes winners from regional rounds. Officials said the programme encourages practical careers and prepares youth for global challenges. The competition has received over 3.65 lakh registrations, showing rising interest in skill training. Experts from industries are judging participants on quality and efficiency. Winners will represent India at the WorldSkills Competition in Shanghai 2026. The event, supported by industry partners, will continue until April 2.
