A horrifying incident in Anekal near Bengaluru has left residents in shock after a man allegedly killed his mother and sister and attempted to murder his nephew before trying to end his own life. The brutal act is believed to be linked to financial troubles and an excessive lifestyle. The tragic incident took place in Mallenahalli village of Anekal taluk, where the accused, identified as Mohan Gowda, reportedly attacked his own family members late at night. According to police sources, he allegedly murdered his mother and sister and then slit the throat of his nephew in a fit of rage. After carrying out the attack, he is said to have attempted suicide and is currently battling for his life in a hospital. The gruesome act has sent shockwaves across the locality, with residents describing the night as one of fear and disbelief.
