Actor Sunny Deol is set to join the shoot of Ramayana: Part 2 soon, as excitement builds around director Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious mythological project. Reports suggest that co-star Ranbir Kapoor has already begun filming earlier this month, and Deol will join the team in April.
According to reports, Sunny Deol is currently busy shooting for an untitled action film directed by Balaji Ganesh and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. The actor is expected to complete this schedule soon before moving on to Ramayana: Part 2. He will reportedly play the role of Lord Hanuman and aims to finish his portions by the end of April.
The ongoing action film is said to be a high-energy entertainer, with Deol playing a police officer. He is expected to appear in a rugged look featuring a moustache and beard. The shoot began earlier this month and includes major action sequences, including one featuring Vijay Varma at Film City in Mumbai. Other shooting locations include Bandra, Churchgate, and Andheri East.
After completing his schedule for Ramayana: Part 2, Deol is expected to return to the action film in May for another shooting phase in Goa, which is likely to continue until July.
In addition to his film commitments, Sunny Deol is also preparing for his digital debut with the courtroom drama Ikka. The project will feature him alongside Akshaye Khanna, marking an important step into the OTT space for the actor.
With multiple projects lined up, Deol continues to stay busy across genres and platforms.
