Agnibanniraya Jayanti highlights unity and social welfare values

The birth anniversary of Sri Agnibanniraya was celebrated with devotion and respect at the Karnataka State Government Employees Bhawan, highlighting his contribution to society and human values.

Speaking at the event, Pramoda Nayka, Tehsildar of the Election Branch at the District Collector’s office, said that Agnibanniraya was not just a leader of one community but worked for the welfare and prosperity of all sections of society. He added that his life and teachings continue to inspire people across communities.

The program was organized jointly by the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, and the Department of Kannada and Culture. The ceremony began with floral tributes to the portrait of Agnibanniraya.

Retired Principal A.G. Keralekas delivered a special lecture, explaining that Agnibanniraya dedicated his life to the upliftment of people and stood as a symbol of humanity, compassion, and righteousness. He urged people to follow his ideals and apply them in their daily lives.

District President of Karnataka State Government Employees Association Sanjeev Kumar, along with Rajan M. and members of the Star Choice team, participated in the event.

Assistant Director of the Kannada and Culture Department Mangala Ven Nayaka welcomed the gathering, while L. Triveni compered the program and expressed gratitude at the end.
