Hubballi
The multi-disciplinary research unit of Karnataka Medical College and Research Institute in Hubballi has been honoured with the Excellence Award and Certificate of Excellence at the MRU Medical College Research Connect 2026 conference held in New Delhi. The prestigious award was presented at a recent gathering in New Delhi, recognising the significant contribution of the institute’s research unit to public healthcare, especially in North Karnataka. Over the past decade, the Medical Research Centre at KMCRI has been actively engaged in advancing medical research and improving healthcare outcomes for underserved populations. The research unit secured the first position among eight medical colleges selected from across the country, marking a major achievement at the national level.
